Invitation for the International Human Rights Conference at Lahore Pakistan

Dear Sir/ Madam,

Sindh Development Society [SDS] is a non governmental,
not for profit and voluntary organization, which is
established in 1991 and registered in 1994 under the
societies act: 1860.

Sindh Development Society is known as the
organization of human rights and advocacy in Sindh
province. The organization working on the project
NGOnet for women and children right in Pakistan with
the collaboration of Greece bases NGO named as KESSA
DIMITRA, Centre of strategic planning and Development

- To organize a International human rights conference
and fair is also one of the main activity of this
project.
This international conference and NGO fair is going
to be held on the 17-18th of november-2004 at Lahore.

The Main Objectives of the conference are:
- Stimulate a dialogue between local NGOs,
International NGOs, Local Authorities and the
Government;
- Provide and Opportunity for the local NGOs to
present their significant work to both the wide public
and the mass media;
- Present “Success Stories” from the field of human
rights, from both Pakistan but also other countries to
be imitated;
- Allow Local, European and international donors to
present opportunities for the funding of women and
children’s human rights projects in Pakistan
- Present awards to people who have excelled in the
field so to inspire others to follow in their steps
